Fairmont High School
A Senior who loves volleyball, Old Scratch pizza, coffee, and her dog
Hani is one of the coolest girls I’ve gotten to hang with this autumn. A senior at Fairmont High School, she plays varsity volleyball for the school, as well as club volleyball for Cincinnati Volleyball Academy. Her no nonsense and take life as it comes vibe is so fun, and it’s a vibe I hope I can emulate as well! Volleyball is a huge part of Hani’s life, so I knew we needed to make some incredible Fairmont Volleyball senior pictures to go with the rest of her fantastic session.
I met Hani through her incredible mom, April, who has an incredible business that supports women in all stages of life in Kettering called The Well for Wellness. You can tell where Hani’s gotten her badass personality from for sure, and I love it! Hani simply oozes confidence, but in a quiet, kind way. She’s a blast to spend time with, and wandering Dayton with her for her senior pictures was a great time from start to finish.
Starting at Old Scratch Pizza in downtown Dayton, we ordered a pizza to take with us. Then, we headed to 2nd Street Market to start our session! We walked all around the area, utilizing the industrial vibes and hitting the nearby graffiti wall. Once we finished, we headed up to the Dayton Art Institute for a touch of elegance. Afterward, it was time for Fairmont High School for volleyball senior pictures!
Hani’s volleyball coach was kind enough to open the gym for us that evening. If you haven’t been to Trent Arena, holy cow. It’s incredible! Fairmont’s gym is absolutely a dream. I wish I could have had a gymnasium that awesome when I played basketball! We definitely created some killer portraits there.
Finally, we ended in my driveway for some fire volleyball photos – quite literally. We also broke out the Nanlite Pavotubes to create some super awesome photos that could shake up ESPN. Look out – Hani has arrived!
Thank you so much, Hani, for letting me capture your senior photos. It was an honor to get to create for you. Congrats on your upcoming graduation, and I wish you all the best as you continue onto your next adventure!
